Beneath Poem by Ronald Chapman

Beneath

In the ground of time,
Buried lives past,

In the night the spirits sing,

Beneath a starry sky,
Lost lovers cry,

In the lonely shadows of night,
A cold wind blows,

Tears of lost love hurt,
Before me a woman sleeps,

In a dream she whispers,

Tears are a poet's release,
In every ocean of tears,
A new story of love begins.
