Below Freezing Poem by Laurence Overmire

Below Freezing

Rating: 5.0

The poet was found
Shriveled and blue
In the back of a convenience store freezer
Someone forgot to take him out
Set him next to the cash register
Where he could inhale enough fumes
To keep himself alive.

Oh well
At least we know the TV dinners won’t spoil.
