Belly Button Brain

BELLY BUTTON BRAIN

OPUS 62

Life's one great ball and I'm just struttin',
'Cause I just found my belly button.
Into this life shall fall no rain,
Due to my belly button brain.

It tells me things I need to know.
It helps my intellect to grow.
Whenever, deeply I must think.
It gives to me my gut instinct.

The knowledge of the surest course.
The intuition and the force,
That carries me beyond first sense,
And aids me in the future tense.

I did not find it by myself.
For years 'twas hidden on the shelf,
But, when a friend brought it to mind,
My belly button brain did find.

In many ways I am quite foolish.
I'm even told I can be mulish.
But, now my heart and mind are trained,
Due to my belly button brain.

The value of this great discovery,
Is how it helps me in recovery.
To say that term will always send,
The fondest memories of my friend!

From my belly button brain to yours!

It seems I have just met a man whose work I love to read. The type of verse I can relate to, much like mine indeed! His words are light and humorous, and reading them is fun. 'Tis sure I am that I will read them all before I'm done. Robert
