Believe In Me Poem by Rebecca Ryan

Believe In Me

Vs.1 It doesn't matter what I say,
You always take my words and twist 'em around.
No one really cares about my day,
I just want someone to believe me now.
{Because they never, ever listen to me.
They never, ever leave me be.}
(chorus)
Believe in me,
It doesn't matter if I'm wrong or right.
You really shouldn't argue with me or fight.
Trust in me,
You should listen to anything I say.
I tell you, it would really make my day.
I just want you to please believe,
Believe in me.
Vs.2 Those people out there don't really care,
Can't let 'em fool ya, or you'll end up getting hurt.
Don't go near 'em, I wouldn't dare,
I know how it feels to get treated like dirt.
{Because they never, ever listen to me.
They never, ever leave me be.}
(chorus)
(Instrumental-bass/guitar/drum)
Vs.3 Now, I finally got to you,
You're wrapped around my finger and you'll never let go.
Anything that I say or do,
You tell me you love me, and it really does show.
{Yeah, I'm so glad that you listen to me.
Yeah, it feels like I'm finally free.}
(chorus)
(chorus 2) x 2
Now I know you believe in me,
Whether my words are wrong or right.
We know better not to argue much or fight.
You trust in me,
You listen to everything I say.
I tell you, boy, you really make my day.
I'm just happy that you are with me,
And that you believe,
Believe in me.
Whoooaah, you believe in me.. :)
