When everything you do appears to fail
And family and friends cannot help you,
Believe in yourself and you will prevail.
Your hopes, your dreams, and beliefs become frail
And you think there is nothing you can do
When everything you do appears to fail
When what your future holds you cannot tell
And hard times are all that you have been through
Believe in yourself and you will prevail
And when darkness hits, causing you to quail
You ask yourself, "who, who will I turn to? "
When everything you do appears to fail.
When hard times are present, your life is hell
And misfortune causes you to feel blue,
Believe in yourself and you will prevail.
No one knows what the future will unveil
So keep your hopes, your dreams, and your faith too
