Being With You Poem by Courtney Elfa Alaban

Being With You

There are so many gifts that I receive
That I don't know what to do
Some of them are accessories and clothes
But I'm glad that one of them was you

I thought that you're just like them
Who don't know how to understand
But I was wrong and I finally did see
Your true colors and helping hand

Though I can't remember the day we became friends
But I can't forget that memory of you and me
Memories like doing great things together
Memories in which today I still see

Sorry for the times I'm not there for you
On that days I regret
I promise I will never leave you
That, I would never forget.
