Being Neutral Poem by David Harris

Being Neutral

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes being neutral
can be as bad as being at war.
When you have two warring friends,
you don’t want to take sides.
You are stuck in the middle,
an uncomfortable place to be.
So sometimes being neutral
is not a place you want to be.

neutrality is self preservation. In a situation where there is a clear right and wrong, when you will not even validate the feelings of the one who is being hurt, you are supporting abuse in your neutrality. You don't care about the person who is being hurt. So long as it is not You. There is no love in neutrality. Neutrality of a friend who you have ALWAYS stood up for is like the death of that friend.

Some times you must step back, being the voice of reason... Andy 10

It's not fair to get stuck in the middle of friends...but when tempers flare for whatever reason in the heat of the moment they forget....after thing calm back down...reason usually comes around
