Being In Love Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Being In Love

Rating: 5.0

As if getting caressed by
Dew drenched leaf of winter morning;
When you do not search meaning
Of the existence in a hurry;
Dream coated night never let you
Think beyond your puerile mind;
Events are strung in a chain to
Help you change the masks;
Even in dark finger traces out
Name in the air and on sheets;
Buds hold their fragrances in
Tight curls waiting for the charms
The horizon displays in her eyes;
Butterflies fold wings in anticipation
Of fresh colours to be spread out
When windows are opened
To let in sweet tune of love flowing
Down from the water washed pure
With moonbeam when she had
Slept in his arms in her dream;
Grasses have held the pearls;
Creepers have lost sleep in
Their wide expansion embracing
The coldness of plastered walls;
Mirror is forced to tell a lie;
It sounded cracked in shame.
