Being Heard
The irony is'nt so subtle,
Man is rejoicing not his ability to speak, talk
and express,
but of being the only one capable of articulation.
For the millions of plants and animals he exterminated
had tangible ways of expression,
he would have long died in the agonizing cries that they would make.
