Being Poem by Dequan Nicholas

Being

Unexpected
Obscured my vision
Waking up
The anomaly of this blessing
Rests in the appreciation of existing
In such a formidable dwelling
That rotates each second
So slow you cant feel it
So fast age gains speed
While Greed bypasses need
And though time my greatest enigma
Is one an answer I cannot figure
Lies in the anomaly of existing
The appreciation of its blessing
Contemplate as I lay awake in Bed
Obscured my vision
Waking up
Unexpected
