Behind The Garden Of My Mind Poem by Darcy Charles Inwood

Behind The Garden Of My Mind

Behind the garden of my mind,
Lay an estate of beauty,
Of wonder.

Where my wishes lay,
Where my endless travels follow,
The destination always seeked,
But never reached.

Upon this land,
We may all travel,
Ne'er are we to take a step inside,
But we are all free to visit,
Such contradictory hapiness.

For this land,
Of beauty and wonder,
Untangible and unreachable,
Is different for us all,
Still yet a place lost to time.
