Behind His Smile

Behind his smile
Is a world full of pain
All day he hides
Till dusk he is full of strain
Why can't anyone see what's inside?
Mentally he is so drained
Physically too; he got damage outside
At night, from his eyes, it rains

Behind his smile
Is a dead hope
It is far from him by miles
He to himself now is also not an elope
He will only be here for awhile
Right now he just run around like a mope
Why can't anyone see what's inside instead of the outside?
He is so alone....

Why can't anyone see what's inside instead of the outside? Because if people had to start looking at what is on the inside they would find themselves looking into a mirror and that reality scares them. Nicely done Sadvansha =) (Report) Reply

How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
