Beginning Poem by Rubab Atwal

Beginning

A celestial beauty stared at us
Enamored she came our way
With the nebulae her blush
And her eyes a cosmos day
The ocean of stars faded
As she strode past
The curtain of glimmer shaded
As her shine held fast
But this heavenly rose
Couldn't fight a thorn
So now her broken dream flows
And her legendary wings shorn
Her wish had torn her apart
Her death a new life
And we live in her heart.
