In between jobs;

In between homes;

In between desire;

And, in between spirits-


The distant world;

The middle road;

The lower division;

The downward spiral ahead-


In between controlling;

In between driving;

In between running;

And in between felicity-


To the distant future,

To the middle ground,

To the lower East side,

And to the downward jump-


I admit this challenge;

I accept the discomfort;

I ascend from this path;

And I arise from clutches.
