Before Taken Over Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Before Taken Over

Rating: 5.0

Peasants and poets
Both are quiet
Busy in their struggle
With lots of troubles

Rain god may shower
But yield may be fewer
Poets may write
But nothing more to fight

Both are important
In age present
Fortune does not favor
But they have full honor

One is father of universe
Another is master of verse
Both have unique goal
For responding to a call

Peasant toil hard in field
Poet has sway and ground nicely held
Both permanent and present
Well contended, active and alert

Just give best wishes
As they convert goods from ashes
Both need care and warmth
Before taken over by the death
