Bee Honey - Poem by Abdulrasheed Dawodu

From afar
I hear your buzzing
I draw closer
Befuddled by what it would be
Honey or bee

Amazing how you have it all
Your sweet taste
Your painful sting
I can't do away with you
You give me honey
You sting badly

How will I have your honey
If I can't stand you being a bee?
Please be honey with me
Never be a bee

Poet's Notes about The Poem

In everything in life, there are always two sides to it. Always pray for the honey part.
