Bedside Angel
Dear Angel standing in the dark
That friend of mine who will never part
Your love your trust your guiding light
Watching over me this night
For you I cannot see
You’re in the dark at the side of me
Guarding my every breath
You’re a beating light inside my chest
Keeping me away from harm
No restless sleep all is calm
You talk to me in my sleep
And in my mind, you I will keep
