Bedrocks Poem by Quir Diing Jr.

Bedrocks

I was possess with bad deeds
When I was with you
I hurt you my beloved bearers
And you forgave me
When I didn’t knew what
Forgiveness is all about
You both said, he is our son.

You brought me to this world
Of hardship
Which I condemn not
And thank you the most.
You struggle to me
To me as I am now.

I didn’t knew anything
And caused you pain
When I was young
And you made sure I ate
You made sure I stay healthy
You made sure I was safe
You made sure I stayed in your love
You made sure I don’t cut the rope
And you made sure I got education.

I grew knowing nothing
Like a rock
But as far now
I have the God in my soul
The God in my heart
The God in my body
The mighty creator in my mind
And I ferried for forgiveness
Whatever wrong I did to you
My beloved mama
To you
My beloved papa.

Give me your blessings
Strength and determination
At your youth
To face the earthly challenges
Like a warrior
Ask the creator in the favour
And always shall I too for you
You’re my bedrocks and always
I shall never forget you
My dear bearers.
