Because Of What She's Done Poem by Chuks Kevin Nwaokolo

Because Of What She's Done

Because Of What She's Done.

Because of what she's done
My heart is in the open
I was busy falling in love
and she was busy falling out
Someone took your spot,
she said to me
My pain stare me in the face
In the middle of my night mares,
she left me stranded.

Because of what she's done
I'm a broken man
She was always on my mind
Now I'm having a mixed feelings
Betrayed, anger and hate
Use to tell me she was all mine
But she lied
Her very own smile
mocks my existence.

Because of what she's done
I wish i never met her
I had nothing
But i gave her my all
I built my whole life around
I killed myself trying to heal her
Soaked in blood, but I'm still here
She made me feel like an open lecture
Now I'm being studied by the collage professors.

Because of what she's done
I'm moving on
I have to move on whit my life
And perhaps someday an angel will come
knocking on my door,
to wake me from this horrible night mares.
