Because He Lives In My Mind

Because He Lives In My Mind

My spring past by so quickly,
Turning into autumn in a blink of eyes.
I think about it was only you and I
Under that big star sky with love in mind,
The man that hold me through the night
Telling me I'm going to be just fine,
Winter brought my past pains near,
With so much fear of the words of a past
Love that one gave,
I saw a stranger in my lovers eyes.
His heart was so cold as Ice and his eyes
Told it all there was no love at all,
My summer never came near,
My heart rain on fears of him being near,
That I pushed every man away that came
Near with love on the mine.
I rain for dear life, until you came in my life
And wash those nasty pains way,
And my life became as bright as day.

Poem of the Day

poet Christopher Marlowe

Black is the beauty of the brightest day,
The golden belle of heaven's eternal fire,
That danced with glory on the silver waves,
Now wants the fuel that inflamed his beams:
