When the body was strong and stout,
The mind was soft and fickle,
It was indifferent to seeking beauty.
It was complacent.
When the mind is eager and strong,
To appreciate and glorify beauty,
The body gives in, but it is the mind
That matters.
You are right, but I would not give my wisdom now for the beauty I was once, because I can see how naive, fearful and timid I was in that time. I treasure the wisdom and strength what I have now.
your words are so true, but life goes on. as we age so it is said we gain knowledge. I hope so. nice write
