Beauty
My leper friend
Your beauty shines
like a diamond
Exquisitely radiant
in the heart of a hard blackish stone
so faraway, so hidden
not to be seen
by superficial eyes of the people around
since you are truly blessed
This poem is dedicated to one of my life teachers, Mr jatin Hazarika who clarified the conception of 'Beauty' in my mind.
