Beautiful True Blue You Poem by Edmund V. Strolis

Beautiful True Blue You

Rating: 4.5

Extend a welcome hand by keeping glad thoughts
A human being can sense the slightest warmth
Choose to glow and not to burn
Tame your loose and frightened thoughts

You are aware that the good you is the true you
That life's twists and turns may have turned you around
But all along you knew, that you would see you through
So celebrate your being, the beautiful true blue you

Send your doubts on holiday for a moment, an hour, a day
Send guilt, regret, longing and worry to wallow on their own
Open the drapes, let the suns rays find their place upon a happy face
Cash in on your hard work, take a stroll within the human race

Yes, Cash in on hard work and rejoin the human race. Lovely sentiment and I really enjoy that you always include photography or artwork with your poems....the artist in you. Still waiting for another drawing. Thanks Edmund.
