Beautiful Future

We plan our future
With someone in our minds
We take every step
Maybe thinking about that person

Their happiness
Matters to us the most
Seeing them sad
Is our most dreaded fear

Laughter, acceptance, life
Love, happiness and joy
Are not the only things
That we want to share with them
We see ourselves in every step
Of their lives

Sorrow, anguish, pain, heartache
Illness, torment, trial and tribulation
We imagine being by their side
In all the hardships and difficulties
Our love for them is much stronger
Than our love for us

Praying for them is our daily routine
That we never get tired of or
Another most hated chore
It something we always look forward to
With smile and happiness on our faces.

If I should die, think only this of me:

That is for ever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
