Beautiful Evergreen Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Beautiful Evergreen

Forty words:

I am a rose-pink blossom

dancing in the April breeze,

a cliff maiden, so beguiling

perennial of the leas.

A truly happy flower,

I hear the skylarks sing.

God in His wisdom christened me:

~Armeria Thrift of early spring~
