Beautiful Days Those Were

It is a picture of the earlier days
These peacocks seem so beautiful
Just look at the way wings are opening
They seem to be celebrating life
Fearless is the way they are behaving
As they know that they are in a safe place
To me it is a truly beautiful image.
Lovely is the surrounding as everywhere is natural beauty
Can life ever become so safe again?
Those were the beautiful days which I truly miss now.

When the hours of Day are numbered,

Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;
