Beatles Tribute Poem by Nathan Streango

Beatles Tribute

There are no locks outside this box, it’s hot and I cannot see my own reflection,
Seeing all the people, sitting in the steeple, peaking through the peep hole, and I’m now a weak old stump,
I see the moonlight,
I need to do right,
I need a hand, stretch if I can,

Need a hand, I need a plan, I bend and send amends to the people in stagnate,
Shout it from the rooftops, I cannot produce crops, follow you till you stop, strangle till the noose drops off,
I read the moonlight,
I swing with two strikes,
I need a hand, stretch if I can,

Stretch and twist, invent the miss, to kiss ones soul is to lose on the following hole,
Make a little basket, turn it to a casket, try and catch a rabbit, maybe he can have it postponed,
I bleed the moonlight,
I scream I’m alright,
I need a hand, stretch if I can,

Words of wisdom, in a vision, head collision; fission isn’t as painful as the sun,
Fixing holes with patches, hero now collapses, while the rabbit catches a rainbow that will snatch his bow,
I need the moonlight,
I fear the moonlight,
I need a hand, stretch if I can,
You stretch for my hand, I stretch for Japan, the place where I ran, so
Stretch if I can, you stretch for my hand, I stretch for Japan, the place where I ran

Fields of flower, roses shower, I devoured, sour, bags of blossoms,
Playing with my child, think when I was wild, now I have a while, till my own denial turns,
I live in moonlight,
I wake to sunlight,
I need a hand, I now have a plan,

Keep on going, keep on showing, boring, burning stories with a flame torch,
Now I got it backwards, attack all the actors, see if they will laugh first, when I steal a black pearl purse,
I have no moonlight,
I now can do right,
I use my plan, I move to Japan
