Beatles Melody Poem by Kevin Patrick

Beatles Melody

Rating: 5.0

Lucy’s in the Yellow Submarine
Waiting for a paperback writer
About a helter skelter Octopuss
In a garden At Norwegian woods
Near the fool on the hill on Strawberry Fields
Working eight days a week
For a ticket to ride from a Meter maid
Who will never let it be on the long
And winding road, long, long, long
In the day of the life of Sexy Sadie
Visiting Doctor Robert on Penny Lane
Who only wants to hold your Hand
While still evading the Taxman
With a little help from your friends
Getting better at fixing the holes
Somewhere on a magical mystery tour
Saying Hello Goodbye Blue Jay Way
For I am the Walrus signing Hey Jude
Stranded in the former state U.S.S.R.
With a girl named prudence and
A guitar that’s always weeping
For a savoy truffle and blackbirds birthday
Celebrating it on an old glass onion
As polytheme pam launches a silver
Hammer on Maggie Maes Nowhere Man
Now its time to say good day sunshine
And Goodnight Sleeping to Revolution Number 9

Beatles Melody
