Beat Drums Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Beat Drums

Only suffering

Neither am I boosting
Nor trusting
But openly reminding
You will have only sufferings to sing

I have obeyed
And okeyed
All your desires
Even though it was only satire

You will shed tears
And beat ear drums
You will miss to hear my parting words
But those may never be heard

I shall make efforts
Whereby you shall face no shortage
Money wise or with social status
People shall always pay respect and trust

I have earned great honor
For rendering services to poor
And helping needy
You shall be remembered daily

I know you loved me dearly
But I was busy with work socially
It afforded me with less time
This was the only crime I did
