Beach Walk Poem by Andrew Hinton

Beach Walk

Feel the crash and tide
Pulling at our ankles
As we walk side by side

I'll taste the salty air
And watch as the wind
Dances with your hair

With our fingers intertwined
I'll stare into your eyes
To everyone else blissfully blind

For now it's just a prayer
In the back of my mind
Until I find the strength to dare
