Be Yourself Poem by Perry Sophocleous

Be Yourself

Drinking, drinking, drinking
Will stunt your growth and thinking,
Sometimes people say things,
But say them with out meaning,
Sometimes people feel things,
That really hurt their feelings.

Who knows what is wrong,
Who knows what is right,
People who don't care,
Will never see the light,
People who never stop trying,
Will always win the fight.

How can we help our world?
And also help ourselves,
Be honest and be genuine,
Be truthful, be yourself,
See yourself as wonderful,
And you'll be indestructible.
