Be True Poem by Lil Sutton

Be True

Walking into the future you leave what you thought was real behind.
A life which perhaps was not as it seemed.
Our love blurred by hurt
A bond that had frayed, a heart that has strayed.

Hopefully time will ease the pain and u can both find each other again.
Let your heart welcome the truth,
Let your body accept this love.

Searching for a lost soul,
Only when you find him can you be whole.
Tread carefully and know what is real.
Take it a day at a time, let yourself heal.
Be strong but be true.
Only he knows if he really loves you.

Have a little faith in what you had
Have a little hope in what could be
Knock down our walls, open our hearts
Allow yourself to feel, allow yourself to see
Let your heart be free
