Always been ahead of yourself
Self assured and bold
Took the traning wheels off your bike
When you were only four years old
Anxious to grow up
And to taste of life and such
Now it seems too early
You've tasted way too much

Pretty soon your life will change
You'll have another chance
A time to learn and rearange
A time to laugh and dance
If your eyes are open wide
As you step into the world again
Maybe you will find
That you can be your own best friend

Be the rainbow that follows rain
Be the world that keeps on turning
Changing night time into day
You can make the good things happen
You can find that better way
Be the rainbow that follows rain

Life can be confusing
So many whys and whats
But you got determination girl
And God knows you got guts
Don't let it get you down
When you feel that you're getting nowhere
Take a look around
Cause there's an awful lot of love out there
