Be Prepared Poem by David Darbyshire

Be Prepared

Rating: 5.0

When you sit in the pit with the press,
and fight for a picture, shoulder to shoulder.
Make sure you wear steel-capped-boots,
or your toe's will look a real mess.

If you are going in the ring to fight a Bull,
don't drink the night before.
Your head must stay clear as a bell,
or it will ring forever more.

So you are going to fly to the moon,
and the rocket leaves very soon.
Make sure you take plenty of oxygen,
or you'll shrivel up like a prune.

What ever your new task might be,
you better be prepared.
Cause what's in store for you,
is gonna make you scared.
