Be Like Wind Ever Watchful... Poem by Mark Heathcote

Be Like Wind Ever Watchful...

Outside the wind-inhales its own enormous-voice
But inside it's quiet, a needy crummy little-mouse
Bravely it lingers watchful at the window-door
It's self an ever-expanding-universe a metaphor
Hurling both rain and snowflake with an icy roar
The wind an unbalanced creature on falcon claw
You feel his bewilderment of flightless strength
You're a chasm he enters in a lonely wavelength
Be like wind ever watchful at the window-door
Be as the ever-expanding-universe-forevermore.
