Be Done, Racism Poem by Henry Nii Ayi Cobblah

Be Done, Racism

Rating: 5.0

colours make things beautiful
and so humans should to the earth
some colours may not be appreciated
but in the lie the seeked treasure

the newlife is in the old concealed
and the oldlife, new is reveled
the white is in black concealed
and the black, white is reveled

the sun shows forth the glory
the glory as of the old
untold to the melodies of the song
with rendations of the creation story

created to revel varieties in the creator
but white and black never row
i stand to understand
is it a white pride, or say the black

some white have it as been clean
and so the black thinketh as strong
yet this a thing that should be
i fear to fear the impending fear

but a wish to your mind
join to give a soothing sound
and the world will sing unsang melodies
to the history and future of our world

and so a we see in our selves different
as in our minds, to join, to share, to perfect
we share in the concealed joy we have hindered
and so foe those yet unborn
