Battle Won Poem by Bellaina Bella Hernandez

Battle Won

Running and thrashing,
during the midnight sky,
knowing yet not realizing,
this is a battle in my mind.
fires from guns heard across,
blinding lights up high,
soon enough a prisoner tossed,
in a cage called 'Cloud Nine.'
slowly trying to break free,
from this unperfect cage,
that has inprisoned me,
lose of hope and desire it made.
A corrupted soul is what they got,
by surprise my soul-mate,
came and faught,
but was it too late?
Once a glimpse of his light,
soul now free,
free to be with my right,
free to be with he and leave.
Souls walking forever,
with him in eternity,
he'll always be my lover,
Battle Won forever and always.
