Hey brother, ignorance is the only enemy
And the root cause of all our plights
So, we must keep our intellect-sword shiny
And never let it hide from our sights
In this battle field of life filled by calamity
We often hear the cry of suffering humanity
When word of wisdom is too often ignored
And the sword of intellect is left unused
Hey brother, what are you afraid of?
Just jump to the center with cleared wisdom
Killing negations that blur your vision
And summon strength in hidden compassion
Let the fire of battlefield engulf and burn out
Those murky minds making us weak
And after the inferno we shall find
Pure love and sure hope are gleaming behind
Then will see the blessed dawn breaking out
With all its majestic power and glory
And the gentle breeze of love and compassion
Will help us sailing safe without a fury
Hey brother, ignorance is the only enemy
And the root cause of all our plights
So, we must keep our intellect-sword shiny
And never let it hide from our sights

I would like to translate this poem
Ignorance is said to be bliss, but I believe an ignorant person may have said that, for I prefer knowing everything. My curiosity has no bounds or limits, obtaining wisdom and knowledge is to me, blissful. This poem is enlightening and filled with hope tucked within it. Wisdom from a wise man. Thank you Tushar, this has great meaning and is very specific about our intellect needing to be used. RoseAnn
