Battle Field / Dark Angel
Dark Angel my scars are still fresh, but you have the audacity to call me back into the ring,
Of all your pains, Let me go take off hold, give me back my heart you have taken from me
I was not willing to give, You get a thrill to see me life this its a fight for you to win.
My scars are open bleed out to you, My soul I never gave you to take control of, heal me from
This darkness. A black hole you replace when you had taken my heart out from my chest.
I ask for Novocaine and you laugh like you was on a battle field.
Because you know how weak I am tonight and every night of my cold life you given me,
You left me so confused, numbness surrounding.
Weak in appearance, I shall draw blood this time. It seems this show has proven profitable... to
You once again. Weak is what you thought I would be when you taken me down and stole
My life from me like you did. This is a battlefield I wont let you win.
So you thought I was weak, that you would finish me just like that without a fight,
So now I've drawn you to the battle scene of your dark love.
But you still think you've got me I see the lust in your eyes for me, you need me.
Dark streets of Paris is were you wanted to take me again,
The image of your perfection of your heated up nights taken me with out a fight.
I hear your voice why you had been looking in my mined to see why I had put up a fight,
Not a chance you are going to let me win this battle, I won't back down.
I have a battle cry within to give me back my life. This pain swallows me whole in the cold
Pouring rain give me what was already mine.
