Battle Beyond The Darkened Sky Poem by Daneshia Byron

Evil roams across the sky blocking out all light
A dark force comes untamable and unconquerable, no one can stop it
Death seems immenent, unescapable
No where to hide or run
A hero comes to conquer the darkness his heart tainted by the darkness itself leaving us to wonder
What if light couldn't conquer the darkness, what if only darkness could do that?
What if it wasn't a battle between good verses evil, but between evil and a greater dark power; who do you hope to win?
And is it a battle truly worth fighting when in the end darkness and chaos will always ensue
