Basic Instinct Burns Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Basic Instinct Burns

Rating: 5.0

It was never
Love
Just the animalistic
Lust
Right from the first
Electrifying kiss
That charged up
The body
That had collected
much muck and rust

All that love making
That she took for
genuine desires
Was just physical connection
Two bodies mating with fire

That ultimate physical entwining
Those sounds of passionate moaning
They came to nothing at last
For him it was just a way of time pass

Once again broken hearted
She picked herself up
And roared
Brushed off the dirt
From her skirt
Never again to be
Conned and implored
