Barren Wall Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Barren Wall

Barren walls

So far we did treacherous acts
Polluted rivers in fact
On mountains kept atomic eye
To spy on others and observe what do they try

The waste is dumped on the way
The snow is melting at an alarming way
The rivers remain in spate
Just sealing our fate

Somewhere rain is in excess
Somewhere the mountains give in to leave behind no trace
Man and materials losses are unaccountable
It is only hardship for the people

The season have turned erratic
There is no warning that is scientific
People, all of sudden, face heave rainfall
Houses fall and we can see barren walls
