Beauteous Victory (Out Of This World USA)
Barely In Love
Last night we made love desperately
The passion darkened like a stormy cloud
The beast within was a trying sin!
As emotions ignited
Wanton winds did sing
The aching in my heart grew heavy
At that moment
I was longing for my conscience to save me
I uttered a sigh of sweet guilt
The warmth of our bodies felt like a burning flame
Innocence no longer lingered here
Shadows rose as tender hearts collided!
What became of the scarlet rose enchanted?
You knew the truth that night!
You knew I wasn't her
And that she never existed.
