बंजर है ज़मीं (Banjar Hai Zami)


बंजर है ज़मीं, बस बंजर है,
ये दिल की ज़मीं, बस बंजर है,

ढूंढने हम चले, फिरदोस ख़ुदा,
क्या मिला था हमको? , क्या मिला? ,

तारे जग के, सब तोड़ेंगे,
ये सोचा था मगर, ख़ुद ही टूट गया,

पाँओं मैं छाले, कर बैठे,
टूटे - टूटे, ख़ुद को ही, कंकर पत्थर, हम कर बैठे,

टोटे - टोटे, रूह हुई,
हवाओं मैं हवा, हम बन बैठे,

अब देख ना, मेरे, दिल के ज़ख़म,
नासूर उन्हें हम, कर बैठे,
