Band 4 Jhen Poem by Issa Alejandrino

My name is Jennifer Marcelino, a graduate of Bachelor in Advertising and Public Relations at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. I was hired in IBM on the 29th of July 2011. This is my first job and I'm so rhankful that I'm still here, striving hard and giving all the best of me for this company.

I started here without any working experience but I know that this will not be a hindrance for me because I have the guts and confidence to compete and to be successful someday. Since I started working here, I learned a lot of things that helped me to be a better person. At first, I was scared to commit any mistakes in my work but later on, I just realized that this will serves as a lesson for me to do better things next time. Now, TL Cren gave me an opportunity to be promoted from Band 3 to Band 4, and I don't want to waste that opportunity because she believes that I must be on that position.

I'm so thankful and grateful because I was chosen to be one of the candidates for the promotion. I can say that I have an edge to be on that position, not only because I want to be promoted for good but to prove my value as an asset to the company. Since I started processing File Attachment and Redress cases, I really wanted to be part of the top performers. I set that as my primary goal while working here. For me to achieve that goal, I'm doing my best to ensure that every month, I will get 2.0 score in my MIP and I'm taking good care of my PBC score as well.

In our team, I was the top performer for the month of December and April. I used to be a team player, and as a result, our team leader assigned me as one of the mini TL's to help her doing admin works like daily reports such as EOD, daily allocation, ILC and team attendance. Our team leader entrust me also to discuss readings such as ART, PSP, CAT Comms. and she assigned me also to cascade all the updates in Redress and File Attachment. If ever there is a new process that we need to learn, I was one of those agents in our team that our team leader chose to attend trainings for that.

Those are the qualities and achievements that I can proud of and I can say that I can be better than what I am today if ever I will be promoted as one of the Senior Customer Specialist.
