Bailing Water Poem by Eric Cockrell

Bailing Water

Rating: 2.5

you measure the level
of success of a man's life
not by how many people

show up at his funeral;
but by how many people
show up to help him to

bail water out of a sinking boat...

usually in direct correlation
to how many boats and how
many people he's helped

bail in the past!

This is very true. Some people don't ever keep score and spend their whole lives helping others. Thank heavens for those types- they keep the world going I think.

I wish this was true. But it is not always. It also depends on the kind of people he has decided to help. Great poem man keep writing them.
