Oh I will say such stupid things
To push you away
But deep inside
I want you to stay
To keep me smiling
And to make me feel okay
Come and talk to me
Fill me up with your happiness
I long to be with you
Bring me closer to your chest
The sound of your heartbeat makes me weak
I am sorry
I do not want to hurt you
I never meant to hurt you
All I wanted was you
But instead I drove you away
God wake me up today
This has to be a bad dream
I think I lost the one person that cared so deeply for me
