We live for our child's firsts
Their first smile, their first laugh
Their first cry and tears
Their first tooth, first step, first word
Their first 'I love you'
Their first journey alone, so brave
Their first friend, and love
Their first dance, first date
Their first fight with sweet reconciliation
Their first life without you
Their first child and wonderful knowledge
You smile at their first journey of firsts
