Baby Blue Poem by Tj Murray

Baby Blue

What if you lost your child,
The one you tuck into bed.
Your little baby, so meek and mild,
What if he were dead?

Its the worst of your fears,
But it could be a hellish reality.
Your baby's breath just disappears,
Adding another fatality.

What if your baby went blue,
He's gasped his last breath.
What on earth would you do,
If your baby met an early death.

He's gone, he's left earth,
Only blankets left to remind you of him.
Only seconds before his birth,
And already singing hymns.
