Awkward Feelings Poem by Rachel Byrum

Awkward Feelings

Awkward silence
Awkward waiting
Silence fills the void
Where once our voices were
Sitting quietly
And waiting patiently
Waiting for you
To make up your mind
But i hear the giggles
And see the girls
My heart breaks
And i feel myself faint
I'm always waiting
Waiting on you
I know its pointless
But whats a girl to do
Your taken now
So i duck and bow
Out of sight out
And out of mind
How can i be so kind
Your the one who broke my heart in two
